I work from the gut, you know.

'Freeze' is the pinnacle of the album, my favorite track: brutal, sarcastic, saturated, drunk!

The review praises 'Love's Miracle' for its visceral power and primal energy reminiscent of Jesus Lizard but stripped of jazzy elements. David Yow's vocals enhance several tracks with distinctive intensity. The first half of the album is strong, featuring relentless rhythm and powerful guitar, highlighted by the standout track 'Freeze'. However, the latter part suffers from weaker, filler tracks, including two covers and repetitive material. As an EP, the initial four tracks are highly recommended. Listen to Qui's 'Love's Miracle' for a raw and intense rock experience that packs a powerful punch!

What I like most about this album is how they managed to make it sound, rather than how it was composed and performed.

Releasing such a work must have required a great deal of courage and conviction.

My Disco's album Paradise is a bold and skillful minimalist work recorded at Chicago's Electrical Audio. It surpasses influences from Shellac by focusing on hypnotic rhythms and abrasive timbres. The album demands attentive, noise-free listening to appreciate its detailed sound textures. Although experimental with few original future developments, it remains a provocative and compelling album. Key tracks include 'Paradise,' 'An Even Sun,' and 'German For Attention.' Discover My Disco's hypnotic Paradise—listen closely and experience minimalist genius.
