Original, feminine, and yet still heavy metal. The title track and the following 'Za Toboj' are, in my opinion, the best moments of the album.

Volnaya Staya's debut album 'Staya' offers a fresh feminine approach to classic heavy metal, delivered entirely by a female Moscow-based quintet. With Russian vocals and strong guitar work, the album blends familiar metal influences with unique touches. Standout tracks include the title track and 'Za Toboj.' Though some slower songs feel less original, the album remains a solid listen for heavy metal enthusiasts. Listen to Volnaya Staya's 'Staya' and experience a unique Russian female take on heavy metal!
If anyone has the unhealthy idea of buying their album, practice at home with a couple of tongue twisters. The logo looks like a mix between a booger smeared under the desk and bird droppings plummeting from 50 meters high straight onto the hot asphalt.

This review humorously dissects the Mexican grind band Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis and their album 'Aromatica Germenexcitacion En Orgias De Viscosa Y Amarga.' It mocks their unpronounceable name, disgusting cover art, and grotesque song titles while acknowledging the album's appeal to genre enthusiasts. Despite the abrasive style, the album is surprisingly well recorded, making it a unique artifact in extreme metal. Dare to explore the wild world of Mexican grindcore with Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis—listen now if you dare!
Even though I can’t really see them traveling Fu Manchu style with a convertible and an arm dangling out the window through the Icelandic valleys at 26 degrees below zero.... There are no filler or anonymous songs, each has something different from the others.

An awkward pachyderm. Yes, that’s how you can describe the sounds that avalanche over us as we begin listening to the debut of Mammoth Mammoth. A nice blend of two genres to which the sole of your shoe will not withstand and will rhythmically lift off the ground.

Massive and above all raw. The smell of dust is felt throughout the scant 23 minutes of the record, and it’s also palpable the ghost of Kyuss that wanders like a Virgil.

My Sleeping Karma gives us this and allows us to glimpse something that for an album is as simple as it is enlightening. "Satya" is more than an album – a perfect and natural pantheism between music and psyche.

A pleasant discovery, nonetheless; a stoner-metal that at times plunges into the swampy lands of a psychedelic rock but always remains minimalist and instrumental. The guitar sound itself evokes a massive and substantial doom, which, however, only sporadically emerges in the rhythms of Cosmic Vishnu.

Explore Cosmic Vishnu's atmospheric Colossus Mountain EP and dive into minimalist stoner metal with a psychedelic twist!
From my point of view, it is the most complete album. "Fundamental" is a 4.5 album as some passages are perhaps too forced, but I gladly give it a full 5 for the combination of styles and the courage to propose a musical blend hardly categorizable in less than 7 words.

Puya’s 1999 album Fundamental is praised for its original fusion of hardcore-heavy metal with Latin rhythms like salsa and merengue. The band creatively incorporates Spanglish lyrics and distinctive brass instruments, producing catchy and danceable tracks alongside heavier compositions. Though some passages feel forced, the album’s bold genre blending earns it a high rating. Ideal for listeners who appreciate musical diversity and innovation. Listen to Puya’s Fundamental for an exciting blend of Latin rhythms and hardcore metal innovation!
You can see how mathematics appears awkwardly crammed into various scenes, acting more as a drag on the pace than an innovative boost. The question nowadays is HOW the bandit is caught, and unfortunately, the 'how' in Numb3rs is full of holes.

Numb3rs, produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, attempts to blend math with crime investigation. Despite an interesting premise, the show suffers from forced plot devices, heavy stereotypes, and unrealistic use of mathematics. Acting and visuals are decent but not enough to engage fully. Overall, the show offers unique cases but fails to deliver a compelling viewing experience. Discover why Numb3rs struggles to balance math and crime drama—read the full review and decide for yourself!
It’s impressive to hear Bill singing cleanly (the same person from the growls in ’Reek Of Putrefaction’). It’s only rock’n’roll... but I like it.

Firebird's Hot Wings is a 2006 album that channels 70s classic rock with bluesy elements. Led by Bill Steer of Carcass fame, the album showcases clean vocals and soulful harmonica in a gritty yet accessible sound. While the album doesn't innovate, it delivers heartfelt and genuine rock music with a nostalgic vibe. Standout tracks include "Carousel," "Misty Morning," and "Bow Bells." Listen to Firebird's Hot Wings for a raw, blues-infused rock experience from Carcass’s Bill Steer!
