José Feliciano - California Dreamin' (Audio)

WELCOME BACK, and I do it with this magnificent cover from 1968...
la canzone dell'amore perduto Fabrizio de Andrè

I would like to make two observations.

1) If the music of this song had been written by Faber, I would think it was the most beautiful composition of Italian music in history. But, as we know, the music was taken directly from a well-known classical composition from the 1700s.

2) The first version recorded by Faber is this one, which has very few views on YouTube and is, to this day, unknown to the snobbish twenty-somethings who listen to Faber out of fashion and only know the one present on the album Canzoni. For me, this is THE version. More genuine, more lived, more heartfelt, and emblematic of the 60s. It's plagiarism, painful to say, because Telemann was not credited, but the final product remains a masterpiece of music and words.

Good evening, turkeys.
Canzone per Seveso - Antonello Venditti

The power of this piece is disarming... taken from the album I prefer, the most intense of all, the angriest one... the one that makes him one of the greatest songwriters of those years, and unfortunately the only one that he never revisits (this speaks volumes about the artistic value of the album).
Alan Parsons Project - "Old and Wise" - Lyrics on screen

Why is it that we never talk about them? One of my favorite bands by far.. Alan, after all, has influenced Pink Floyd as well..
This piece is heavenly.
Genesis - Los Endos

Always great FILIPPO COLLINE
Anche i detective piangono

Among the usual artists and singer-songwriters, no one ever mentioned this little guy here: SERGIO CAPUTO
Giuliano Palma & The Bluebeaters - Tutta Mia La Città

A cover song that I feel particularly attached to..
Marvin Gaye - I Want You (1976)

And here’s another little piece of my musical soul.

Someone should review the album; I tried, but I gave up.
King Crimson - In The Wake Of Poseidon (OFFICIAL)

I struggled a lot.
I struggled a lot to appreciate this band, coming from lighter listens.
But everyone spoke highly of them, and since music is my greatest passion, I wanted to delve into this world.
My father liked Genesis and Pink Floyd, having grown up with them, locking himself in his room and listening to this music that was relatively new back then.
So, I also started from there. Then I listened to many bands from the late sixties and seventies, those who made what is called prog, both Italian and foreign, many.
Finally, I approached King Crimson.
I started listening to pieces that I think I would have never listened to before and I overcame certain difficulties.
Of course, even now I can't push myself beyond certain albums, although I'm sure I have opened up much more than before. I can only do even better.
This one is perhaps my favorite piece. Sure, you might say it’s easy to choose this one, all in all, it's quite linear compared to their other compositions, but I can assure you that I love many others that are much more unique, much less melodic.
And that's it, I just wanted to share something with you.
King Crimson - Book Of Saturday

A gem from their high-quality discography. This can appeal even to those who are not into certain progressivism.
Rinder & Lewis - Blue Steel (1979)

Straight from my INSTRUMENTAL GROOVE BEST playlist

Inside, there are only three songs: this one, Gods And Astronauts by Gato Barbieri, and I’ll Be Here For You by Bohannon.

It was 1979, and the label AVI Records released this album, once again produced by the legendary duo RINDER & LEWIS, the minds behind projects like EL COCO, LE PAMPLEMOUSSE, SAINT TROPEZ (disco lovers know).

Enjoy this track that feels like it was written just yesterday.. how much I love this, guys!
George Michael - Older Live 1996 Unplugged Rehearsals

It might seem like playback given how perfect this performance is.
Classy music, one of the most beautiful voices in the mainstream pop scene, great Giorgione.. what an album this is.
Bee Gees - More Than A Woman (Lyric Video)

This is me. This is what moves me. This is the essence of the music I love.
fellini - otto e mezzo - sogno

The scene of the dialogue with the father is of infinite sweetness.. Marcello's voice, so reassuring and full of love, moves me.
perchè di notte-neri per caso

The beginning reminds me of More Than Words by Extreme, but the song flies by beautifully; it's my favorite from this group that's more often parodied than appreciated, unfortunately.
Alessandra Amoroso - Tutte le cose che io so (Visual Lyrics video)

Remarkable piece that you wouldn't expect... trust me, normally I don’t listen to her.
Lucio Battisti - Mi riposa

One of my favorites from the UNCOLORED period.
