KRIS KRISTOFFERSON & RITA COOLIDGE - Me And Bobby McGee it seems impossible that the colonel (or captain) son of a US general with such a stony face could have written wonderful songs. He wrote for all the best singers and all hits. I’ve seen some of his interviews and I liked him as a person as well; there are legends about him, Cohen, and Stephen King floating around on the web. According to a crazy theory, these three and others were part of a cult connected to Lennon’s death, with Cohen being a Mossad agent and other far-fetched tales like that. There’s even a book written about Cohen called "The Man Next Door," where Ann Diamond accuses him of being a spy who had been brainwashed at university— the usual mix: one true part about the American professor at the university during Cohen's time and the rest nonsense. Anyway, KK could have rejoined the army as a captain (right) stationed in East Germany. Rambling as usual, I’m off. Oh, do you prefer him or Janis Joplin?
