Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - 01 - Carry On (by EarpJohn)

I don't know what your relationship is like with the radio in the car. Mine is very simple. There are no USB sticks, CDs, cassettes, or whatever. There’s just the radio, nothing else.

I mainly rotate three stations: RMC (because the sound is excellent), Radio Capital (because they occasionally play the real Genesis), and finally Radio Freccia, which, unlike the insufferable virgin, rocks without frills.

From there - the arrow - comes this thing that now seems big to me. No carabinieri chasing me, no debts, no ex-wives & lawyers, no serious health problems except the usual ones: Carry On! Yuk!

every breath you take remix puff daddy and sting

Here. I wish someone would understand why sometimes I get as mad as a Bedouin who has lost his camel in a bet when I happen to - usually in the car, unexpectedly - listen to stuff like this.
I don’t think that those who spent money to buy this crap are idiots, but I believe it would have been better if they had returned to their parents the money they spent on their (re)education first.

Nothing personal against you guys over there, who also sample what has already been sampled; go ahead!
Keep doing like my friend Felice.

Ivano Fossati La volpe

What will that shadow be on the road to my house?
Will it be my love who has lost their way?
Will it be the wrecking triceratops come to claim its paternity?
Will it be a dog?
Will it be a who-knows-what?

But no.

It's just the carabinieri who have been following me.
How boring! Ugh.

Just kidding, it seems obvious but maybe not...

This is just for the immortal @[sfascia carrozze].
I wonder how many times he prayed to the god Onan with this tome - instead of the Bible - in one hand and who knows what in the other.

Ah: notice the post-fascistoid lettering (Font for you young folks).
Isn't that sinuous "s" wonderful?

Is it the abnormality that wakes us up?
Or is it just a bell?

To those who have worries, I recommend a smile: taking oneself seriously is ridiculous.
And Hemingway can go screw himself!
A bullet... in the mouth, if I remember correctly.
Pfui!

Shivaree - Goodnight Moon (Official Music Video), Full HD (Digitally Remastered and Upscaled)

Some of you simpletons might not appreciate my sister.
Who today is almost full, here, outside a closed bar, watching me watching her.
You might also not like this little song, or you might not believe that the Americans REALLY landed on the moon.

But frankly, I don't give a damn.

What a piece!

Great news.
For the blucerchiati, I understand. Maybe.

Only a Magritte can be compared to this extraordinary Artist.
And I wouldn’t know – forced into a corner – which of the two to throw from the virtual tower.

La Notte della Taranta - Chicco e Spillo - Samuele Bersani

A Samuele here, totally zonked in my opinion.
He’s scared. You can see it.
He’s afraid of the stage because he has to read his own words, so he’s afraid of himself.
Now: anyone who has stepped on stage - to perform for real - knows well that, regardless of the number of spectators, before stepping up - on the stage itself - YOU MUST be scared. Otherwise, you’re not a musician.
If you’re not scared, it means you have no doubts, that everything will go according to script. And I find that intolerable.

Samuele performed the same piece in Palmanova, in a shopping center, aggràtis.

He said:
“Look, I thought this was a Non-Place, like the airports in Brian Eno; instead, the sound here is amazing!”

Gnáo!

Ten intense minutes with a succession of that extraordinary, pulsing Synth Riff: supported by a guitar that couldn’t be more Hard Rock, which makes you anxious!

Son of a bitch! You will never get us!

Be careful.
Slow down.
Bye.

Meow.

É l'aurora - Ivano Fossati e Oscar Prudente

Oh boy!
Who is this bassist?
It would come to mind that it's Guglielminetti.
But right now I don't feel like googling.

This was done by my friend Liliana Rusu (you'll hear more about her: she’s an extraordinary person, as well as a photographer and a Total Imperial Hottie) on the road that leads from my house to one of my favorite bars.
A couple of hours ago, I was passing right by there to go watch the National Futból (great 30-meter throw from the Nomen Omen DiMarco), and it started pouring rain.
Element - everyone knows it - that I am not quite accustomed to. Yuk!

Sonic Youth - Bull In The Heather (Official Music Video)

Every now and then, this sonic youth isn't so bad: because, unlike you GDM (Getoffmydamn lawn youths), we SVDM remember, we have culture, and a sense of wanting to break your balls that you, over there, are - indeed - too young to appreciate TRUE senile cativéria.
You come at us because we play the guitar with a drill?
Well, we’ll cut off your power (in the sense of electricity): and let’s see what the hell you can play!!!
Tzk! Haw haw haw!

Ron - Una Citta' Per Cantare ft. Artisti Insieme Per La Lotta Contro La SLA

A @[withor] of course.

I was torn between this and "Guido piano" by Fabio Concato.
But why?
But why for me are these the two "car songs" I prefer.

I've never liked driving: but the few times I have my license, it's these two that I want to listen to in peace, driving with my left tire glued to the edge of the road, to get there. Where no one has ever been before.

Or was it after?

Prima di continuare su YouTube

No one, except for those who have heard him play (that stuff that's no longer used), can understand the devastating impact of this unfortunate human being who was better than any fucking god.

The electric bass has its name.

On the double bass I waver: I'm not talking about technique but about emotion.
Chazz number one.
Then Charlie Haden.
One who seemed to do nothing but after five minutes of listening to him...

Bob Dylan - A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall (Official Audio)

I’ve always had a liaison with rain, whether it’s gentle or heavy.
It has always accompanied me because, in case you didn't know, it often rains around here.

Its tapping on the windows, while I work at night sketching you, is something that needs no other music: if not that of the perfect accompaniment of silence.

Then, when it really rains for weeks on end, it takes on another meaning.

Meow.

SAMARITAN | TRAILER UFFICIALE | PRIME VIDEO

And then they say that on TV they never do anything good!

A masterwork inerrably crafted with a Sylvester Stallone beyond the paroxysm of talent or bromide: it's the same. He’s a superhero - who would have ever imagined him in that role! - somewhat aged, who socializes with a kid (with the dog being the worst misfortune of a film) who thinks he's too senile to fight the current gang of villains; led, of course, by the usual operetta Villain, as I always say.

I'm at the beginning of the second half: and I have no idea how this thrilling story could end!

Speaking of "Horrible Covers" (which I adore!), this is actually a Folder; so it doesn't fall into the category. But thinking of my friend Carlo Sgorlon - rip - seeing his homeland described this way really gets to me.

It's not something old: they printed it this morning and even asked for my opinion.

Because (aside from that time I shot a television) why don't I go around armed?

That almost imperceptible "Snap," which is the sound of Gwen Stacy's neck breaking.
Like my adolescence. Which ends abruptly, here. On this page of "Spiderman" - or rather "L'Uomo Ragno," Corno editore.
Snap!
After that, I had to become a man; I mean, that’s a stretch.

The Doors - Love Me Two Times

Do you know what fear, terror, and horror are?
Of course you do because it’s not the first time I’ve shared my favorite piece from the doors of perception.

The carabiniere this morning were lenient: "Go on, damn it!"

Lovmitutàims! Ahr ahr ahr!

Michael Kiwanuka - Home Again (Official Video)

So I'm listening now on RMC to the latest track from this chiuonuca's upcoming album, which to me sounds the same as this one. I'm in the car - a vehicle that I only use to go from one tavern to another - but how nice! Doesn’t it bring you serenity? Home again Home again... Only Tom Waits' pony will be able to find the way back home to me. Meow!

le rane - Mannarino

In short, my courtyard barista has me listen to this after I've watched the hunchbacks play a great match. Misfortunes, as everyone knows, follow one after the other...

Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson - Say Say Say (Official HD Video)

I was in the mood for something boomer: it's pouring like crazy, lunarossa is losing me, the sinner too (go Alcaraz!).
I've always liked this video: Ok! As basic as it gets, but the two didn’t just run away from home like that, randomly.

Hanno Ucciso l’Uomo Ragno | Nuova serie | Trailer

I’m not sure if I understood correctly how to copy & paste the link. I’ll find out only after the “sapevatelo.” But if I’ve grasped the essence of this thing, it would mean that the extraordinary review by @[withor] and all the fantastiliardi of subsequent comments have been nothing but mere trifles.

But, diolazzeróne: you’re not seriously telling me that this is a normal thing!

Okay, talking about nothing is something everyone does, but discussing the void applied to nothing doesn’t seem - to me - like a sensible exercise.

Coming up next, if I make it, a spider song.

SPIDER MAN (L'Uomo Ragno) - Sigla Iniziale (1967)

Twimp!
