Faun Renaissance

It has nothing to do with the Faun, but after discovering Domina Noctis thanks to your review, I found one of their incredibly beautiful songs called My Book of Shadows, which I've listened to countless times. The drums after she says "Are you scared of me-e-e-e-e-e-" are something unique. Lately, I've been realizing that the role of the drummer is more important than one might think; if they are creative as well as technically skilled, the piece changes and becomes richer, it's more surprising in a certain sense. Well, ariciao.

You are officially invited to dinner, LL! A dinner among the "chosen few," of course, eheheheheheh. If it weren't for you discovering interesting gothic bands these days, it seems we'd be left with the desert of the Tartars. I've already listened to some music and the friends seem very promising. Excellent and detailed review, with a broad perspective thanks to the reflections on music and life. The reference to Corde Oblique is interesting, which I don't know (what a name!). I really like Argine and Ataraxia, even though the production of the former varies and some things are definitely rough, but others like Blood of Cherries, Outremer, and Pastorale are divine.

This review seems a bit forced to me, and I don’t understand how this group, which I don’t know, can make dark music while also reminding me of David Bowie, who is anything but ā€œdark.ā€ But your enthusiasm has piqued my interest, make it as beautiful as you say...

But how many beautiful samples madamadorè! And what a lovely review that, after the initial statement that you can't really define this type of music, thankfully gets to the point and frames it with four beautiful definitions, et voilà! Well done, well done. This German duo is interesting; I’ll proceed to a closer acquaintance.

@dreamwarrior: Oh unknown traveler, how wonderful to have crossed paths with you and, with a touch of optimism, to have sought out Qntal! They are brilliant, her voice is melodious, their music is medieval-original, in short, you have introduced me to a fantastic band! Hey LL, if it’s true that we have similar tastes, I highly recommend them.

"Les memoirs blessée" is absolutely beautiful... but why do you hate "La lumière et l'obscurité"? And what about "Exuadi vocem meam" part one? They just released part two, but I find it a bit disappointing compared to these masterpieces. I wonder if you would like the group that I consider the non plus ultra, namely Autumn Tears... but I don't think so, nobody likes them, only me and a few other CHOSEN ones heheheheh.

Suspense...emotional crescendo...final melancholy...wow how beautiful your reviews are, how alive they are! Having recently discovered Tiamat, you give me the guidance on what to look for, this one yes, this one no, this one maybe, the so-called spoon-fed stuff. Thank you very much, much appreciated, please keep on writing my friend!

Wow Lovelorn, the more I read your reviews, the more I notice that the bands you like are also among my favorites: Trobar de Morte, Narsilion, Dargaard (do you know I Verbannten Kinder Evas? They are amazing) and then Empyrium, which I recently discovered, deep and dense. Regarding your presentation of Elane, I would classify them as folk/dark, due to the almost always melancholic tones of this album and the mostly slow rhythm. Do you know of any other albums by them and if they are good? I have this one, I've listened to it for a very long time and I would like to have another. Bye bye, I'm glad you review this kind of music, if I find time I'll think about Empyrium, but time is money as they say, hehe.

For the old advertisement series: "Another case solved, inspector... you never make mistakes (or something like that)" "Well, no, I made a mistake too! I didn't use Linetti hair gel!" In your case, you didn't use the apostrophe between "un" and "orchestra." However... still in the same series, the Durbans advertisement ended: "With that mouth, you can say whatever you want." You write beautifully! Have you ever thought about writing stories/novels/essays/whatever? Bye bye!

Original review. The tracks I know from L.S.D. (Will you Fade - Scatter January) I like, but not as much as you do; they are so delicate that they remain a bit like background music... but I will definitely look for this album. Your patient n.4. P.S. I've never understood if senzaltro is written as one word or two. The dictionary is too far away, and I don't feel like looking it up right now.
