Yes, yes, well said about Nightwish, they should stop acting like childish ogre Judas! Look, I listened to "Flow this Desert" and rubbed my eyes in disbelief: Melissa? But it’s not Tarja, are we sure? She sounds like her, are they twins maybe? Anyway, V.O.A. have energy and enthusiasm, and I like them. His voice isn't particularly special, but overall the result is good. Adding to the cart.

@ la Cavalletta: elegant music but not very deep? Aaaargh, aargh, and double aargh! It pains me to hear this from you, whom I hold in such high regard for your classical music reviews! Not very deep, virtuous, etc, etc? But when a composer writes a masterpiece, how can such distinctions be made, how can it be done? The state of mind described by MaSo while listening to The Four Seasons is something I experienced at 18 years old, and it was thanks to Vivaldi that I approached classical music. I lack the musical knowledge to respond in an informed way, but I know for sure, absolutely sure, that in the poignant melancholy of Winter, in the sensuality of certain violin passages, in the constant sense of surprise that makes me draw a parallel with reading poetry by great authors, in the anguish I felt when I had to interrupt the listening, I can only see the greatness of Vivaldi, and if he is great, how can his music not be very deep? I will gather my courage and start reading some material so that I can write a review of my favorite classical music piece from the last thirty years (and on the listening level, I do have a musical education): Juditha Triumphans. By Antonio Vivaldi. Vivat, vivat, vivat...in pacem!

I was saying... your command of language is excellent, the enthusiasm for the group palpable, the wealth of background information remarkable: come on, get to work on getting hired by someone as a reviewer, it really seems to be your calling! "A Rare Moment" is stunning, I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to it. But - personal tastes - in my opinion, Lacrimas remain superior in terms of arrangement complexity, the beauty of his voice, and great underlying melodies. Until your next review, bye bye!

A nice, fresh, and genuine review; perhaps a bit generic in the track by track analysis but balanced out by the overall vibe. You've piqued my interest and I will look them up, since nowadays this operation isn't too burdensome, let's say...bye bye.

Very intrigued by your beautiful review, I listened to them and I will listen to them again, but I find them challenging at least for now. With certain bands, I change my mind after several listens, with others no; this probably happens to everyone. In short, it also takes a certain amount of initial goodwill to appreciate a type of music that isn’t easy. I’ll let you know. Ciao ciao for now, Buia Notte...Notte Buia? Notte Scura? Notte buia e scura? Etc. etc.

I see your comment now. How would it be, I don't take seriously what you write? I've already heard "Dentro" and "Ascesi" and I find both of them beautiful! In my post, I was making fun of myself; I occasionally do that to try to explain to myself why I prefer twilight music over light music. That's all. Ariciao

Just excellent as a review, the initial part is captivating and in the final part you clarify the limits of Artesia; I had never really analyzed their music but reading what you write, I can only agree. Some pieces are still beautiful, with or without percussion, with or without vocals, for example Lassitude (I'm not sure if it's from this album or another), even though one might wonder if they accidentally included Dark Sanctuary, but in the end, the important thing is that it's beautiful, right? Yes, let's hope they continue to evolve. Bye for now!

What can I say? The most lyrical review I've ever read, and some idiot comes along to ruin the ratings... the good and the bad, the yin and the yang... I’m glad that a part of it was published as a story on the homepage, see, the yin wins in the end. Have you ever thought about writing poetry? Bye bye

With your excellent command of language, a good dose of freshness, and enough details to frame the genre, I think you’ve written a great review. And these guys intrigue me. Sono muto eh? If only they were as good as Sopor Aeternus, whose name reminds me of this? You never know! I’ll let you know Oscura Notte, bye for now.
