In the meantime, they are not only followed in Switzerland, considering they have a ton of fans all over Europe and 3 or 4 of their albums have also made it to the top ten; secondly: do you really think Gotthard don't play hard rock? What genre would you say they play then? Please don’t talk nonsense, as hard rock is their bread and butter; listen to their first 3 albums from 1991 to 1994 and then you'll see you’ll change your mind...

"Dream ooooon!! Dream ooooon!!" Legendary Gotthard! The first 3 albums, however, were more explosive and spontaneous.

If you care so much about commenting on reviews that don't allow anonymous posts, just register... look, it's very simple, it doesn't take up much of your time and it costs you nothing... let's not talk about dictatorships, because in my reviews I've allowed anonymous comments, but I don't feel more honest than anyone else...

Impressive when you consider the year of release: 1971. In the first track, it sounds like Black Sabbath, as well as in "Nude Disintegrating Parachutist Woman," a masterpiece of hard rock; the rest of the songs are at a satisfactory level or just above. All in all, a good job of historical value...

This album is of a beauty that cannot be converted into words..."Summer is miles and miles away And no one would ask me to stay..."

More balanced than the other albums in managing to coexist the dark melancholy of the acoustic parts with the devastating bewilderment of the heavier outbursts... I prefer Akerfeldt's clean voice to the growl (which doesn't resonate with me much). For me, it's on the level of Blackwater Park... just a notch above Deliverance, a smidgen below Damnation...

Except for the opener (too aggressive for me), it’s an excellent album that blends power and sweetness and makes me view this band more and more positively...

Sorry, slip of the tongue, it was Joe Lynn Turner, anyway I confirm: great performance.

You can feel the various souls of the '70s in this container of small masterpieces: blues, hard rock, psychedelia... The rhythm section is worthy of thunderous applause, especially the bassist, whom I place in the same category as legendary figures like Geezer Butler, Geddy Lee, and Pete Way. Blue Oyster Cult were pioneers, and you can hear it...
