Cold Year of the Spider

Having listened to something of theirs, around 2003, they sounded a bit too predictable to me, football-wise, a band for the UEFA Cup (or Europa League) preliminaries. :D
Staind Break the Cycle

Great job by Lewis and company, 5-, a colorful and emotional review, 5-. Returning to the genres, I largely agree that in the post-grunge scene, this is one of the dominant works, even if it's more alternative rock and less grunge compared to Alice. Still, one of the best albums of 2001, so many beautiful and not-so-beautiful memories (we all remember the crap, as you pointed out) tied to this album. A sublime rediscovery.
Amorphis Silent Waters
Voto:
I'll listen to the album soon; the single "silent waters" is very, very beautiful.
Theory of a Deadman Scars & Souvenirs
Voto:
Not a great review, long-winded and repetitive, but it’s acceptable. I don’t think the Theory are copies of other bands; T. Connolly in particular has a very warm and enveloping voice. I believe the previous "Gasoline" is a step above this one, so a 3... rating 7.
Green Day 21st Century Breakdown

I came across "American Idiot one of the best albums of the decade"... then I stopped reading, I don't want to anymore, trust me.
Chris Cornell Scream
Voto:
Holy words, crap.
Story Of The Year In The Wake Of Determination

Yes, it seems like the usual stuff, I waited for it for quite some time, I was a bit disappointed, I think they are on the decline.

It degenerates thrown around...
Black Tide Light From Above
Voto:
Great album… I almost entirely agree with you, Freddo… the latest works of Metallica, particularly Death Magnetic, is a superb album in my opinion. The only thing that leaves me perplexed about this album is that, in my view, composing this stuff at 15 years old seems a bit too much. Unlike, for example, the same Metallica during the time of Kill 'Em All, these guys had strong support from the major in the production. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that we're talking about a fantastic album—truly a beautiful piece of work.
Dry Cell Disconnected

If we can talk about Park clones, in my opinion, Cool Hybrid Theory is a really great CD. Let's say that the Cell take this and that from that work.
