And here I am again, this time bringing you an album that definitely matches my nickname.

The album in question is "Scream" by Chris Cornell, yes, the one from Soundgarden and Audiosla... no wait... is it really the same person who wrote and sang songs like "Black Hole Sun" and "Cochise"? Are you sure?

I find it hard to believe; no because, you must know, what my PC speakers are transmitting doesn't seem either grunge or hard rock or any other genre associated with the singer's past projects.

An album with Timbaland, do you realize? A shapeless and smelly amalgam of pop/dance so dear to the producer of color (who nonetheless has proven capable of doing his job by composing and producing "Innoncence" by Bjork included in her latest album "Volta"); the tracks of the album all sound the same way: synthetic electronic drum beats, aseptic and absolutely out of place for this type of artist; "noise" keyboards that recall the new trend of house music; Cornell's voice, at times hardly recognizable (auto-tune's fault??) which shamefully improvises a soul/R&B voice; choruses like "oh" "eh" full of vocoder typical of Timbaland's productions and a Spanish touch that currently sells definitely.

What does all this have to do with this character? To think I was still harboring some small hopes for Cornell's first solo album...

Trust is a bad thing.

Money is a terrible thing.

In conclusion: unlistenable CD, evocative cover.
