I'm sorry, beyond the objective value of the album, I can't give more than a 2.

The introduction of Riders on the Storm (rain + Manzarek) is something that transcends any judgment when listened to under the right conditions...

What a disappointment, I thought they were the legendary J.e.t., the ones from Fede speranza carità, the Italian prog band from the 70s. Ciaooooooooooo

The album, it’s true, encompasses a greater scope compared to the band's previous prog work, but overall it feels verbose, and I would appreciate more the individual moments than the complete work, where even the lyrics, although of excellent quality, take up too much space. It is effectively an album for Gabriel, and his flamboyant figure dominates and captivates us immensely, especially in live performances. My 5 goes to the beautiful moments of the album, rather than its overall structure. The review is essentially good, even though, as London says, the two subsequent albums should not be undervalued at all, proof of a band still cohesive, against all expectations. Formally, it leaves a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth, yet one must acknowledge that you didn’t ramble on too much, which is difficult for an album of this kind.

Oh yes, I don't remember what I listened to back then, something that reminded me of the Beatles, I think.. I need to dig deeper anyway.

Well... if you’re happy, that’s what matters. I would only have something to say about your comparison of this album to Foxtrot, since I couldn’t imagine the untruth of your post, especially since I haven’t dealt with you much. Byeee.
