Right...great album also "The security..."..I was just listening to it last night. I recommend you get Network, because it will be a nice surprise for an admirer of Saga like you! I'm just surprised to have read many negative reviews about "Behaviour" elsewhere. I liked it right away when it came out, and I bought it on vinyl...

ohh...finally someone in Italy who comes to talk to me about Saga: I may be a freak show, but I candidly confess that I have practically all their CDs, even the worst ones (in my opinion Pleasure and the Pain and Wildest Dreams)... I've always liked them; in their best productions (in my opinion Silent Knight, Heads or Tales, Behaviour, In Transit and also the penultimate one, Network) I've really appreciated the discretion of the keyboard interventions (yes, three keyboardists, but never overwhelming), and the pyrotechnics of that great guitarist, of course an eminent unknown in Italy, who goes by the name Ian Crichton. Well, even if the latest "Trust" doesn't send me into ecstasy, it was really about time that someone talked about it!
Gino Vannelli Live

Indeed, the review perhaps overly possesses the gift of synthesis... but... damn it... space for the music... and when the music comes from the voice of the good Gino and the instruments of the always incredible characters surrounding him... well... then... ladies and gentlemen... silence, and let’s listen! I fully agree on the incredible drop of "Black Cars," which is at least partially patched by "Big Dreamers"... they were the sounds and arrangements of the '80s... a rather "lazy" period quality-wise for everyone. But... the unreleased tracks from the latest "These Are the Days" (by the way... why a "semi-compilation" with a whopping 7 gems? couldn’t we have waited a bit longer for a brand new CD?)... well, these unreleased tracks leave me very hopeful.
Tony Levin Live @ Noise - Torino 03 Maggio 2006

For Roby 86, who asks for an album for the ā€œinitiationā€ into the solo Levin... Waters of Eden is one of the most beautiful works I’ve listened to in recent years! You won’t regret it… go easy!
Gentle Giant Acquiring the taste

Well done, Salmacis! You’ve captured the essence of this album, which I too consider an absolute masterpiece by a fundamental band that, incredibly, ā€œdisbanded due to lack of commercial successā€ (!!!) Immense Acquiring, marvelous Gentle... anyway, I wouldn’t dismiss things like "Free Hand" so easily... does the Renaissance vocal blend of "On Reflection" leave you indifferent as well?
Pat Metheny Letter From Home

I don’t mind either the review or the album... okay... a lighter Metheny... but it’s still great music... and if all light albums were like this... ps: I see that the review of "First Circle" is missing, a cornerstone!... I might just dive in and do it myself as soon as I find the time...!
Van Der Graaf Generator H To He Who I Am The Only One

Fundamental work for the Progressive... anguish, loneliness, darkness, disorientation... hope! I haven't listened to the latest "present" yet, but I hope it musically approaches the beautiful trilogy "Least-H to He-Pawn Hearts"... and anyway, Godbluff doesn't seem despicable at all to me... it might just be my infatuation, but I place it very close to the trilogy!
New Trolls Concerto Grosso n° 2

...this time I’ll try to be brief: well done reviewer, beautiful words and the album presented more than decently... too bad it feels just like a faded copy of the first one... I’m from Genoa, I know Maurizio Salvi well (I was a jazz piano student of his at the Conservatory... a real virtuoso!)... and his absence in this second one is felt... indeed! Of course... Roi Soleil... great piece, there's no denying it!
Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls
Voto:
How can one disagree with this review? ... Metheny and Mays, not two jazz musicians, not two "fusionists," not two individuals that can be categorized in any way... simply immense musicians! I too dissent from the purists who condemn Metheny without mercy: they only listen to Jazz, he is not just jazz; he has created a style that also incorporates jazz... but he uses it to reach artistic heights that are not even that inaccessible to the "lay" listener: forgive me for the comparison, which may seem excessive or irreverent, but did Mozart, while composing, think about a musical genre to follow canonically or imitate, perhaps? No, he was addressing not the elite, but EVERYONE! Great Pat Metheny, immense Mays... two pioneers! A mind-blowing album... unforgettable is the hypnotic progression of Lyle's keyboards in the second part of the suite!
Rush Moving Pictures

I’m glad you’ve raised your rating for "Moving Pictures"... I can confirm that it still seems to me the most inspired and cohesive of their discography... of course, I immediately went back to listen to 2112... well, that’s not bad either! Let’s say it's a 4! I believe that period was the best for Rush... I find their more recent products a bit... how should I put it... rougher? They will surely appeal to metal lovers... but it seems to me that the Prog tracks from their best years have been overshadowed!
