Ok, lately I see a bit of a decline in the musical sense.
People who can't write, people who offend, people who review rubbish.
Let's try to review "music" with simple words....
Well, what can I say.... lately, I've been listening to this live by good old Gino in the car. Unfortunately, a very underrated artist. Not a genius, but an excellent craftsman of that genre of music halfway between classy pop and R&B. Great vocal and stage skills, I would say that with this "Live," he provides an excellent excuse to get to know him and appreciate his merits. It contains the most famous songs, from the famous "I just wanna stop" from 1978 to the (then, 1990) popular "Black cars."
The album is recorded in Montreal, the hometown of our emigrant. The band accompanying him is as eclectic and dynamic as ever: a surprising Enzo Todesco (?) on drums, Mike Miller on guitar and bass, and the trusty brother Joe Vannelli, who harmonizes and solos on various keyboards. The album is excellently recorded, the live dimension is greatly emphasized, the performances are very accurate yet emotional, and the album is highly enjoyable.
Ideal for "moodeggiare" with class on a beautiful evening...
