Massive Attack & Mos Def I Against I (Only Free Dowload Mp3)

I quote <Even we debasers are against ourselves; is our nickname stronger than our person? Are we really as we would like to be virtually? Are we the ones who make ourselves, or are others the ones who make us? Who is stronger between the two, the image we project or the one that is projected against us and we reflect in turn? Are we really convinced that we know what image we project?>
...damn... do you want to write a review that I WON'T give 5??!??!??
Miles Davis Bitches Brew
Voto:
Here’s what Miles says about 1969, before entering the studio to record Bitches Brew:
"... I wasn't ready to become a museum piece, (...) to be put in the catalog of classics. I had clearly seen a path to the future and was starting to follow it, as I have always done."
And what he says about the sessions for Bitches Brew:
"Those recordings were improvisations, and that's what makes jazz so fabulous. (...) A musician's mood 'is' what they play."
Other 'pearls' of wisdom:
"There are so many purists running around talking about how electric instruments will ruin music. It will be bad music that ruins music, not the instruments that musicians choose to play." Then
"Put the right people playing the right things at the right time and you will have a group with balls; that’s all you need." And finally
"...to be and remain great musicians, one must always be open to what is new, to what is happening at that moment. You have to be able to absorb if you want to continue to grow and communicate with your music."

I have the record and I've listened to it, but it doesn't excite me that much... maybe I should have bought djKrush.

What an educated man you are, ...damn... that doesn't change the fact that I still have a strong urge to shoot you in the spaces between the dots! ;)

Well, I wasn't really serious when I brought up hip hop! Anyway, it would be cool to create an American-style (and sometimes Italian) feud here on de-baser (unless someone has already thought of that!) --- damn... I'll shoot you with dots!!!

I don't care... you don't convince me! DeLa are one of my Pillars... if ATCQ does REPP, in my opinion DeLa does HipHop, what can I say?! The first THREE albums of DeLa are a kind of Trinity for me! And it's absolutely NOT true that they are ugly!!! I was in love with Plug One, although I later changed and fell in love with that chubby cutie Plug Two. And the comics in 3 Feet High...?!? sooooo beautiful (and Q-Tip is cute too, plus he's done so many little collaborations outside of the HipHop scene, like the rap in Groove is in the Heart by the legendary Deee-Lite -- uuuhh how old am I)
