@liamyes: aside from the fact that the track-by-track review is dull in itself (and you don’t do anything to make it more lively), if you’re so frustrated that you’re giving yourself a 5 (under an anonymous comment), then you’re really in bad shape!! I've never liked the album (all the tracks are the same).

I always have serious doubts about the 70s bands that continue to play (usually with a new lineup). Just look at Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, Blue Öyster Cult, etc. They can no longer replicate the emotions they conveyed in the past. I haven't heard the new single by The Who yet. Forget Axl Rose: he's just an idiot with the brain of a hamster.

Well done, great review! I have to say I don't know the album, but I'll have my friend burn it for me as soon as I see her. Anyway, the latest Muse are nothing short of terrible. The songs are way more pop than before. Since the last two albums, they’ve been like a bad case of the runs.

Thank you for the positive comments. Anyway, while I don’t consider myself a "hardcore" rock fan, I don't really appreciate the more pop Aerosmith. They seem too commercial to me. But maybe I’m mistaken. @vincent: I have the first album on my list of upcoming purchases. For now, I've only heard "Dream On" and I liked it. I'll try to get it sooner or later.

Bought yesterday (or rather, burned). Well, they certainly won’t change the history of music, but in today’s blandness, they’re a nice band that manages to create fresh songs that could even encourage those who don’t remotely know Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath to educate themselves about them (gaining some "culture"). Very nice review.
