No, no, of course not, it's not that what I think is beautiful or good has to please everyone; I’m simply surprised that so few have given it the highest ratings, considering this is a remarkable album by a remarkable artist (or at least one that I've always perceived as such), and often around here people who I've never even heard of are idolized.

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised that the only 5 so far has come from me for this album. I can understand that reggae isn’t exactly the gospel around here, but wow, these are classics. Anyway, I think the reason this album sounds a bit less traditional than your usual reggae is due to the excellence of the musicians, rather than any specific innovative intent. Maybe I'm wrong.

But what do you care, Franci! For those who are only interested in ganja, it doesn't matter much what face is on the t-shirt… at least that's how I see it. It's true that he wasn't the only one, but I don't feel like agreeing that he was inferior to anyone or anything in the field... Anyway, the review is good even just for the proposal, but in my opinion, this album isn't particularly innovative from a "technical" standpoint; it’s rightly a summation of reggae and Jamaican music and an important record for all music, but the strength lies mainly in the message.

I just realized that I gave a 5 to the performance, while I meant to give it to the review... oh well, I still have time to fix it.

Too ahead, I'll come back to say something intelligent when I have something intelligent to say. For now, I just vote.

Nice case...and nice proposal.

Great, but there are too few comments. On the other hand, this gets complicated... and indeed, I won't take a stance.

I, on the other hand, have loved and still love this album so much that many, if not all, of the bands of the same genre seem tiny in comparison :-). Hell, then let me know how the concert was if you went, and especially if you feel like it.

Isis, it seems he's coming to Lumedane, I'm almost tempted to take a trip. Anyway, I've always thought about how heavy it must be to grow up in the shadow of such a father.

Excellent review, really excellent, although for me it is a good thing that other chapters of the saga have been given rise to... from an "environmental" standpoint, I think the Blood Omen series is also exceptional. The eternal prison is something I think I will never forget. Even though Nosgoth in general is quite an unforgettable experience.
