No, the version of Battery isn't by Megadeth, but by a band whose singer has a voice very similar to Mustaine's. Just check out the official Megadeth website. As for the album, I haven't heard it, but having Metallica covered by Metalcore bands (excluding Mastodon and Machine Head, of course) seems terrible to me. One last thing: I’d be quite curious to hear Exodus covering Metallica; I think they'd be able to kick all those crappy Metalcore bands to the curb.
