"i rhapsody (for the losers passionate about Tolkien) nightwish (for losers in general, fans of Tim Burton and role-playing games)" ahahahahaahahahahahahah... very sarcastic!

Bliss, Time Is Running Out, Starlight... It's thanks to critical listeners like you that Muse have ruined themselves. I quote 3 songs that make my stomach turn (and that you naturally mentioned).
Incubus Morning View

Good album, but already light years away from their masterpiece, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. A question without arrogance: could SCIENCE have been all their own work? It seems almost inconceivable that a band of kids (19 years old) can move so effortlessly from nu metal to funk, from dub to drum n bass. Oh well!

I didn't know he used a pedal.. I was convinced that sound came directly from the legendary Randall head, which, out of modesty, I never had the courage to use in my blissful teenage years :)

I didn't compare Meshuggah to Tool; you did, my dear. In the sentence I referred to, you were talking about the metal panorama, so don't twist things around, sly one. The form of Tool is indeed metal, but the fact that their substance goes beyond the genre's stylistic elements is another matter! Don't get worked up over your own assumptions; it makes no sense.

"Bah. In my opinion, Meshuggah are one of the few bands (perhaps the only one) that after 30 years of the same metal have managed to give "heavy" sound a structured and complex meaning. No one has managed to do that for decades... don't Tool mean anything to you?"
Dream Theater Systematic Chaos

"After reviewing Gods Of War by Manowar, I couldn't refrain from analyzing the other pillar of the stunning metal year of 2007, namely Systematic Chaos." I say you could have.
