Lisa Germano Slide
Voto:
Thank you for the comment, ajeje... and wanderer. Wanderer, I don't know if you've read the other reviews by ege, velvetmik, and airone on Lisa Germano... probably you have. They provide an even better service to this amazing singer-songwriter. From the comments, you'll also understand that she is unknown to most and sells very little in general. I highly recommend her... it’s a musical experience worth having, absolutely. It’s not an easy listen but truly rewarding. The masterpiece is Geek the girl, and this Slide is relatively more "accessible."

Thank you so much, especially to festwca who appreciates my style and always comments on my work. I truly feel honored.

Thank you so much everyone for the comments! Hal, I don't know the album with Jim White... is it the latest from the White Stripes or is it a collaboration? I can't miss it! I'll look it up and rush to buy it...
Breeders Title TK

So it seems to me that I have to say a definitive goodbye to the Last Splash breeders... it's a shame because they seemed like a good alternative to the laid-back Pixies... I'm sorry... Honestly, I just can't see Kim Deal doing PJ Harvey...
Mercury Rev All Is Dream

Congratulations on a beautiful review... I found the album frankly a bit tedious... and the singer's voice gets on my nerves after a while. This didn't happen to me while listening to the previous Deserter's songs, which I consider a true masterpiece...
The Delgados Universal Audio
Voto:
I agree... the album is practically a (worst) copy of Hate. By the way, my favorite Delgados are the very early ones (the ones from Domestiques) or The Great Eastern... the orchestral excesses of Hate are a bit too much...
Fiona Apple Extraordinary Machine

I adore Fiona, and this album did not disappoint me. Even though my favorite remains When the pawn...
Cat Power The Greatest

Magnificent! After listening to the single (the one from Harmony Korine's video), I had decided not to buy the album because I feared it would be more commercial than the masterpieces You Are Free and Moon Pix... but after reading this review... I think I'll follow your advice: wipe the slate clean and let myself go. I'm sure I won't be disappointed!
PJ Harvey Is This Desire?
Voto:
Extraordinary, refined, and seductive record, and great review! PJ is amazing!
Tori Amos Under the Pink

I must say you provide an excellent service to the greatness of this singer-songwriter: the analysis is spot-on and the images you present are incredibly apt, like that of the carnal relationship Tori has with her Bosendorfer... As an ear with feet for 9 years, I commend you! I would like to know what you think of her latest works... especially The Beekeeper, which I find... um... laborious to listen to, an elegant torture (in this, I agree with Adil)... I hope that Tori returns to the compositional greatness of this gem!
