Oh my God, it's a bit like shooting at the Red Cross... but I agree.

Oh my god, the review left me a bit perplexed, even though it’s clear you have some great talent... maybe the comment was better :P As for her, I think like Odradek. Regarding the album... well, I must say she had at least shown a bit of ambition here... even if perhaps the previous self-titled one was a tad better. As for her subsequent work, let’s just say it’s better to draw a veil of mercy over it, or rather four, like the rating ;)

Oh sorry, the grades...

I don’t know… I didn’t like the album, it all sounds the same to me, lacking in passion, with no song that's truly memorable, unlike Love is Hell. Ryan Adams doesn’t seem that great of a talent to me. However, the review is nice.

Hi Michi! Thanks for the clarification, even though there was no need to raise the grade :P I'm just sorry I couldn't provide a good service to the singer (at least that's how it seems from your comment). I recommend this album, if you haven't heard it, because it's one of the few works I've ever listened to that managed to move and disturb me at the same time. Just like the records by Lisa Germano. Other beautiful works of hers are Daisies of the Galaxy and the latest one. She's an extraordinary artist. If you like Lisa Germano, you'll love this album (by the way, she plays on it)...

Hi Michi, you don't have to apologize if you don't like it, but at least tell me why... that way your highly respectable criticism becomes constructive. No hard feelings ;)

Sorry, I'm a bit late... what do you mean?

Well... I absolutely adore this album... among other things, I don’t find it complex at all... rather, it’s immediate and gently reflective... like that of a mature man coming to terms with his own limits and fears, perhaps reevaluating his musical ambitions. And Midnite Vultures was not the horror you're making it out to be... Beck's uniqueness lies in his ability to never be the same as himself... Good review anyway.

What happened to him? The album wasn't exactly a masterpiece, but it was definitely pleasant pop and better than a lot of stuff out there. These revivals do some good...let's hope someone remembers him.
