"and then grunge is not just a mix of punk, metal, and alternative, there's also the damn pop," quote from the reviewer. But you still don't get it that Grunge as a musical genre doesn't exist??? It's just a term created not by musicians, but rather by critics and so-called (or presumed) music experts to describe more of an attitude than a way of playing. Soundgarden and Pearl Jam were both grunge bands, but musically they had nothing to do with each other. And let's hope this is the last time I have to explain it.
