Damn, it seems like you have it in for me in your review. The "fucking ballad of the Backstreet Boys" (on the internet) I wrote that. Good job! I see you know how to use it, the internet. Anyway, in my opinion, this review is a hoax, I don't believe such an absurd character could actually exist. So I’ll stop here (even though I could go on forever) and I promise to hammer him only if he provides me with convincing evidence of his actual existence.

I don’t know which is the closest star to Earth, but it’s definitely metal.

Guys, useless controversies. Francis likes brit-pop, and that's fine. Alexander likes Tool and grunge, that's fine too. That's it. I don’t understand why you have to tear each other apart. Speaking of Albarn: there’s no doubt he’s a great musician, Think Tank is a superb album, one of the best of that year, and 13 wasn't that bad either. Francis, though, don’t speak so emptily about the grunge and American rock phenomenon of the '90s. Don’t be so reductive. You can’t talk that way about Alice in Chains; that’s a real band, much more real than a lot of brit nonsense (especially these days), a band that has put true turmoil into music that you couldn’t even begin to conceive in your perfect and safe world. We must respect all points of view, and I respect yours. But try to distinguish with objectivity every now and then, and not just with arrogance and bias. Then I say again: listen to different stuff, and so what? That's fine.

I'm excited too!!!!! :)) I haven't listened to it yet, but I will right away. Josi, I had to leave their first album (the one you gifted me) in Edinburgh during the dEUS concert. My friend who was hosting me fell in love with it, and I had to leave it behind. On the other hand, it was a way to repay her. Nice story, huh? She couldn't even believe they were Italian (I was her benchmark...). Don't worry, I bought it again. :)))) Hi Josi! I'll listen to this as soon as possible and let you know!

Personally, I find "Up" a very positive album, well-written and flawlessly played. It may seem strange that it remains one of my favorites considering that the first time I unwrapped it, I was wishing for another "New Adventures in Hi-Fi" (which, by the way, opened me up to half), and instead I ended up with this fragile and ambitious little disc, which initially puzzled me and then won me over. Highly recommended.
