Anyway, if the flower children have been dead for 40 years, as you say, Blixa, then how can we want them dead? Do we bring them back to life? Sometimes you can be cryptic...

it's not a matter of respect, it's a matter of habit, happypippo. if we have gotten used to song titles in English, I'm sure we can get used to movie titles as well. and maybe even watch a film like we listen to a song, in the original language... it's just a matter of habit. in Eastern countries, dubbing has not existed for years and everyone is used to it (of course, it's nice to have the choice between dubbed or original) and no one complains; in fact, many of them speak several languages very well... anyway, this is a complex issue with no easy solution. I was only talking about the title; the title is important, it reflects the artist's desire, it's a choice they've made. distorting it seems dishonest to me. then you can watch it however you want; in the DVD edition, there are all the languages if I'm not mistaken...

happypippo, if you recommend a song from your favorite band, can you translate it into Italian for me? Why this difference between music and cinema? Especially when a film like "Dirty Harry" is translated as "Una magnum 4/bis/456 per l'ispettore signor eccellente dottor Callaghan."
