Mun, are you referring to me by any chance?? Just so you know, metalcore isn’t just the bands you mentioned; it also includes other styles (for example, the “melodic” one)... Otherwise, how would you categorize bands like Killswitch Engage?! And what about Trivium, how do you categorize them?! You can think whatever you want about nu, but I see it completely differently. I've discussed this topic too many times, but if you want, I’ll be more than happy to reiterate my opinion on it... I find metalcore pretty boring almost immediately, just like black metal... But of course, I'm just an idiot; I don't understand a thing about music, I'm not an expert like you, right?
