Mh... Don’t you think all this fuss about the album is a bit excessive? I mean, to each their own, but it seems to me that you’re defending it a bit one-sidedly. As for the look, did I ever say that to be bad you need a Slipknot or Kiss style? I simply said they have absolutely nothing bad about them; on the contrary, since Getting in, they seem like a bunch of fucking emo posers. I mean, if I saw Jacoby on the street, I definitely wouldn’t say, "Damn, how rock, how edgy!", you know what I mean? Well, in the end, the look is just bullshit; what matters is the music, thankfully.

Well, I don't really see this double face. The common thread of the album is the pop-rock melody, like "Scars," let's say, and I don't see big differences between the two halves of the album. If for you maturity means composing even easier little songs than in the past, well, that's up to you. The bad look? Where? They look like a bunch of damn emo posers (I've seen a similar change in look with the LostProphets). Anyway, I reiterate, I really like Papa Roach, and in the end, this album isn't bad; it's just that I was expecting a little more.

Thank you Trofè, but I've realized that reviewing here is pointless (especially albums of a certain kind), in fact, I'm now writing for another site (although I don't rule out the possibility of a comeback ;)). I'll wait for this review. However, I never said they should make all albums like Infest, that would be something else; for example, I really appreciated the experiments in LoveHateTragedy and the rock jolt in Getting Away. It's just that the Papa were already "easy-listening" before, and now just imagine. I mean, I honestly don't know how much longer I can rotate this new album in my Winamp. Then, could you explain better this thing about the double face? Did I miss something? And it might sound strange, but I don’t see any track with the drive of "To Be Loved", since the latter barely fits with the rest of the album; okay, "Alive" comes close, but in the end, they are 2 tracks out of 13. PS: It doesn't seem to me that Limp Bizkit has made all the same CDs, don’t you think?

No worries Trofè, I don't review anymore, so take your time ;) Anyway, I like the album too, but I see it for what it is, which is a collection of chart-topping pop-rock songs. It's practically impossible to define Papa Roach as nu metal anymore. And I don't understand how you can say that "To Be Loved" is not an isolated case. Ah, "Forever" is great.

Indeed, Sum 41 with this album have made a nice turn towards metal, moving away from the pop-punk of their early days. Congratulations on the evolution, well done Sums!

Welcome! Next time, avoid reviewing an album that has already been reviewed thousands of times ;)
