Well, whether we like it or not, nu metal has brought a breath of fresh air to metal. It has definitely "heavier" the CROSSOVER formula created by the masters Mr Bungle, Faith No More, and similar acts. In short, it has somewhat broken the rules by trying to mix (and modify) the usual metal sounds with other genres in a significant musical MELTING POT. But whatever.
