THE REVIEW

Tiziano arrives at the appointment with the 3rd CD knowing he cannot afford to fail. So what to do? Satisfy his audience by plagiarizing himself or try to conquer new territories? Well, the choice was as spot-on as possible, considering that teenagers grow up and are, most importantly, not brainless, the good Tiziano has broadened his horizons by diving into more intimate and emotional songwriting.

He winks at the '80s, especially in the fast tracks, while leaving room for more acoustic sounds in the intimate pieces. Remarkable is "Ed ero contentissimo" launched as the second single, after the extraordinary success of "Stop dimentica". The song strikes deep chords in the listener, thanks to a clearly heartfelt text and a new and especially unusual metric. Also very good is the introductory track of the album "Tarantola d'Africa" where he manages to express the fears and joys of an artist, which cannot be easily understood from the outside; and that's precisely what ultimately strikes me about this work. It is so explicit, without barriers or façades of convenience, revealing a guy who is not just a pretty face with a beautiful voice and a rogue smile, but also a person full of fragility and insecurities that fame has increased, not alleviated. A person with whom I would spontaneously become friends, invite him home to eat my mother's legendary meatballs, introduce him to the beautiful group of friends I hang out with (some of whom are his peers, by the way), grab a beer at the pub, visit him in London, and make the night by telling stories and laughing out loud until sleep overcomes us. In short, make him feel less alone because if there's one thing this beautiful album is full of, it's the sense of loneliness.

By Me Myself & I

The album is very acoustic, sometimes reminiscent of sixties or ’80s atmospheres, it is dominated by acoustic guitar and rarely by electric guitar.

True genuineness is the suitable adjective for the songs; truth and simplicity are the only things people who are lonely need.

By Victor

"The album’s most fitting adjectives are 'true' and 'authentic', all with the significant vocal abilities that Tiziano has always demonstrated."

"Tarantola d’Africa is a jewel for its lyrics and music, with a truly well-crafted and airy arrangement."

By Birbabirba

Tiziano Ferro is an excellent, celestial singer-songwriter who, with one of the most beautiful voices ever heard, gives us 11 pieces of heart and songwriter’s music.

Nessuno è solo is an absolute masterpiece, comparable to the Beatles’ albums in a certain sense.
