Rapping and singing are indeed two different things, but that doesn't mean that rapping well is easy (it requires flow, metric, and creativity in the lyrics). However, I also reaffirm that rap is definitely not my favorite genre (just look at my reviews to understand this), but I can't deny that I enjoy listening to it. Then, as you said, the rest is just a matter of taste ;)

Well, those are a bit of a choir-boy conception you're expressing, like “if there are no musical instruments, it’s not music.” Even sampled music is worthy of being called music (and wouldn't it be something else), since, with or without instruments, it produces sound with a rhythm (and I want to see if everyone is capable of good sampling or making good beats, for example). Because according to your argument, all the electronic music that has come out so far wouldn’t be music either, and that doesn’t seem fair considering its significance in the musical landscape. For example, I don’t like either the content or the music of power. I don’t like the “speed” rhythm of the double bass, I don’t like the overly “effeminate” voice; it’s music that, besides the ridiculous lyrics, leaves me with nothing. And, as you can see, I’m telling you this as a listener of metal in general.

What I wanted to do was act like many (too many) people here, that is, go to the reviews and write "this guy sucks," "this genre sucks," "it's not music," "anyone who listens to it is stupid," et cetera, that is, shoot universal judgments about things they may not know or appreciate. Since I don’t like power metal, which I consider a ridiculous genre for brain-dead people, I thought to stir things up on this review (which I only wrote "smoking power poop," if you hadn't been there to respond to me, the thing would have ended there).
