Generation X Generation X

I love Billy Idol with his tough and rebellious attitude (a legend from my childhood). I admit I don't have anything by Generation X, but I will look into it.

Now that I think about it, that priest also looks like Follini. They could maybe use him as an election poster.

I preferred Ronnie with Sabbath, but this cover is stunning (even though I preferred the satanic/anti-Christian interpretation). I knew a guy who had the colorful tattoo on his back! The review is great too; I read it with interest.

Great Les Claypool King of Slap Bass. Bands like this should be studied in school.
Limp Bizkit Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water

Good musicians, for heaven's sake, but their music is a mix of clichés and commonplaces, probably created with the advice of a team of marketing experts and sales techniques. All just to appeal to the pseudo-rebellious, cash-rich American teenagers.

I would say that 40oz is less immediate and requires more listens to be fully appreciated, but it was the first album of theirs that I listened to and I have a fondness for it; the self-titled is objectively the most "refined" and catchy, a product of a band with quite a bit of experience under their belt. At this point, they had almost found the formula for the perfect song... I would have given it a 4.5 (and a 5 to 40oz) but since I can’t, it certainly deserves more of a 5 than a 4.

Great Europe! Heroes of the 80s paninaro Rock. They deserve a 5 just for their big, teased hair!

I like KRS-ONE quite a bit too; back in the day I wanted to find out who the hell this KRS-1 was and listened to some of his stuff, but it didn't grab me; 40oz is a great album, I would have reviewed that, but there was already a review...

Indeed, the end of the guy was the classic junkie rockstar ending, but in my opinion, Sublime adhered to the punk ethic much more than one might think; it’s enough to say that, as good followers of the Do It Yourself philosophy, it took them 5 years and they had to found their own label (Skunk Records) before they could self-publish their first album, which sold about 20,000 copies in just a few years (and didn't have "official" distribution; it was only sold at their concerts).
