Really well written, I liked it; and the album inspires me quite a bit... great recommendation!

I don't know, but your description (and the cover, amazing!) inspires me.
Adolescents Adolescents
Voto:
I love the Adolescents, maybe I even prefer them to the Descendents (but not to Agent Orange, who for me remain the best).
Claudio Baglioni Tutti Qui - Collezione dal 1967 al 2005
Voto:
Baglioni is a fascist bastard, the son of a shitty carabiniere! To death! Amorte!

Thank you all for the compliments; I don't judge "year of the parrot" too harshly, it's just that on the same album there are songs that I like much more; but it's a matter of personal taste. Totally agree on "Hellbound 17 1/2."
MDC Smoke Signals
Voto:
Great album this one; their first work is unbeatable, but Smoke Signals is definitely one of the most successful (I also really like the subsequent "The Blood's For You"). However, the two added songs that you say belong to a previous single are not here because they actually came out in 1994 (the album is from '86). "Nazi shouldn't drive" is dedicated to that piece of shit Ian Stuart Donaldson, banner bearer of the British Nazi movement and singer of the nazipunk band Skrewdriver, who died in a car accident in '93 (a great loss, huh?).
Eagles Of Death Metal Death By Sexy
Voto:
I'm not too bad with their cheesy and unpretentious rock 'n' roll. However, compared to their other album, zero innovations. If someone has listened to the previous record, they can skip this one since it's a photocopy. Anyway, pretazzo, Kyuss, and QOTSA have absolutely nothing to do with these guys.
NoMeansNo Wrong

Absolutely phenomenal! Creative and innovative, undoubtedly one of the most brilliant groups of the 80s/90s. The 5 is a must for any of their albums, especially this one. It's not true that they are little known here; these gentlemen have had a loyal following for a long time even in this part!
Modest Mouse The Moon and Antarctica

I prefer "Lonesome Crowded West" from '97, even though this one is very nice (definitely better than the latest "Good News," where they got a bit soft). Of course, for an album like this, you could say something a bit more... "wild pack of family dogs" country? I don’t think so, it rather reminds me of Syd Barrett's nursery rhyme songs.
