Beautiful, it had been a while since such a well-made science fiction film was created. Thanks to a spectacular staging (set design + actors + direction), Cuaron delivers an incredibly impressive film. The use of handheld camera is highly effective, for instance in the scene of the battle in the immigrant village, with splashes of blood dirtying the lens (a trick taken from "Saving Private Ryan"). There are at least two breathtaking scenes: two long take sequences that are among the best I’ve seen in cinema recently, absolutely perfect (the ambush in the car and the battle in the village). Brilliant actors (Clive Owen, but especially the legendary Michael Caine as an old hippie, reminding us how useful it can be to always have a bit of grass with us!) and stunning music ("The Court Of The Crimson King" in the Tate scene is perfect, but there are also Radiohead, Aphex Twin, etc.). In short, a great film.

These 4 half-wits, with their haphazard garage sound, won me over back in the Let It Bloom days; then they quickly bored me, fading into obscurity until this year... I listened to this and, incredibly, despite being a recording of a delirious live show in Tijuana, it’s perhaps their best-produced album(!).
