Kosmo, in the end, I didn't dislike them at all live, it's just that I had the constant feeling that their music was always held on a leash. Anyway, does the video for Crimewave give anyone else serious anxiety, with that freaking huge wave getting bigger and bigger? Geb, in terms of compositional wisdom and sound research, these guys have nothing to envy from Animal Collective (whom I also love). "Get Color" sometimes aims more for song structure, but this one is just wild and chaotic, though not completely random; there’s always a underlying thread. Bah, right now I’m not very capable of articulating my thoughts, I hope it’s understood! @Kosmo: I still really like the first FB album, but I admit the follow-up didn't convince me much, and after seeing them live, I confirmed my opinion about them: a class of limitless potential ruined by excessive domestication! There's no comparison with Health :D

Yet I can totally see a bunch of maiblodivalentàin in here, if only for the vocals! And these guys definitely have a super greasy rhythm section. Once you get past the thin veneer of pretentiousness that covers them (yeah, they’re a bit trendy, but whatever), they have a lot to say, yes indeed! Listen, listen.
