Have you ever tried reading any of those works? Without taking anything away from the merits of the aforementioned regarding the issue of language and the disruptive aspects compared to classical literature, I find absolutely nothing interesting in what he has written, really nothing. That harmless liberal-moderate ideology is pathetic, and his style is, for me, at the limits of tolerability; it really doesn’t say anything to me! Yet somehow, if I pick up even the smallest piece of crap from the Zibaldone, I'm eighty-seven times more affected. Different points of view, as always.
