Atmosphere, music that captures the mind, transports you to a world of despair, it’s not just the voice that screams emotions; it's the notes. Sometimes slow and paced that captivate you, other times fast and swirling that drag you along, cold enough to leave you empty with nothing to think about, or full and rich with a warm sound that stimulates feelings.
It’s not technique, it’s all feeling, tracks that make you lose the sense of space and time, songs that bring the mind to bands like Isis and Neurosis but halve the execution times, long and dilated pieces but not too much, the end comes when least expected, transitioning from one emotion to another so softly you hardly even notice...
And when it’s all over, you feel the need to relive that experience, to go back in time to realize that all you've felt was simply brought on by a voice, bass, guitar, and drums, to ensure that there were no external events that heated our soul. Upon listening again, you will realize it’s all true, the emotion is all contained within the magic those guys were able to create...
