Great Supersoul! I thought I was the only one who knew about this work, but deep down I knew there was some other crazy person out there who had paid attention to this beautiful record. The cover is way too trashy. "Once Among The Trees" I listened to until I was sick of it this winter. One question: do you happen to know the "Strawberry Alarm Clock"?

P.S. You keep saying that you've listened to a lot of crossover, but you've never heard of Urban Dance Squad... I don't know! It's like saying someone listens to hip hop but doesn't know who Public Enemy or Run DMC are. Sure, if you listen to the early works of these two groups today, they show quite a bit of naivety and sound pretty dated, but in terms of musical importance and the impact they had when they came out back in the day... shall we talk about it?

Salival, with all due respect, you can't give a 2 to an album from 1994 that you've listened to maybe 3 times in these days. An album needs to be allowed to breathe, it must be framed within its historical context, and it should be evaluated for what it represented at that time. If you didn't experience it in "real-time," it's hard to be objective in your judgment. Now, who’s going to tell the reviewer that you've brought the album's average down? To put it bluntly: we respect your opinion, but the next time you give a 2 to an album like this, you're a dead man.
