Darren Aronofsky Requiem For A Dream
Voto:
I saw it for the umpteenth time just two or three days ago. You put everything very well, starting from the huge difference between the nice pranksters of Trainspotting (Requiem for a Dream is a real movie about drugs) and the final conclusion of the review that encapsulates a thought I’ve had multiple times while watching the film (they're all messed up but all so cool). The editing of some scenes in this film is magnificent, like when Sara goes to the doctor who completely ignores her and starts saying that the fridge comes to life.

Toshiro Mifune ran away from home!!! A group called Le Loup Garou dedicated a song to Toshiro Mifune, download it, it’s amazing... I’ve never seen the movie... I’ll make it up.

Yes, they are phenomena that usually last just a season, but how can you compare the chk chk chk to the rapture and their Franz Ferdinand hairstyles? I really like the !!! a lot; their previous album made me enjoy it back then. The Red Hot amongst the influences surprises me quite a bit.

Lars Von Trier Dancer In The Dark

galakordi, perhaps you didn't understand what I meant in my review... I simply think that Lars von Trier wanted to highlight the difference between the beauty of musicals in Selma's mind and the harshness of her life. Therefore, if this is the director's intent, it is essential that Selma's life is as harsh as possible (thus, blindness, death sentence, dismissal...). And this is a demonstration of technique, of knowing how to write an incredibly moving story, not of true Art. Did I explain it better to you now?

but it's likely! I live in a Mars Volta t-shirt, I have short hair and three perfectly useless dreads, a leftover from childhood that I still have on my head. If you walk by the flowerbeds at the university, I've probably asked you for a map every now and then, for sure.
Francis Ford Coppola The Godfather (Part I, II, III)
Voto:
yeah, Winona Ryder should have been in The Godfather Part III, that would have been amazing! anyway, The Godfather Part III drives me crazy, maybe because anything with a bit of healthy anticlericalism makes me enjoy it; for me, all three are masterpieces, the first two aren’t just films, they are entities! it’s amateurish to review all three together, but I've gained a lot of information that I didn’t have before, thank you to the “commentators.”
