Gamma Ray Land Of The Free Part II
Voto:
the queens of the stone age were originally called gamma ray, and they had to change their name because of these posers. I won't rate the album because I hate power metal as a whole, but the review is well done.

the coolest video clip by the foo is definitely the one for low with jack black. have you ever seen it? I almost forgot: the song is terrible.

Why did he send it twice? ....because yes, I'm an idiot, whenever I want I tell you...oh, I'm coming

So, to set the scene: I'm from Acquaviva, and Rubini is from Graum, a town just a few kilometers away. I don't like this film; I know the trick, so it's natural that I'm more ignorant than Carrarmat... end of preamble... The reality depicted in Piva's films, in my opinion, is absolutely truthful. The only fault you could find with Piva (and only him) is that he has never confronted himself with any other reality outside of that ignorant and limited world of Chiringuito or Japigia (which may be ignorant but is extremely folkloric and entertaining at times). Rubini is a good actor, and as a director, I prefer him over Piva (La Terra is a better film than this second one for me). The reality of La Capa Gira (immensely better than this) exists, and there's not much to be done about it. You can be mad at him for only describing that and nothing else, but you can't be mad at him for portraying a truthful reality as such. It's like if Sicilians were angry with Coppola for making The Godfather (which actually happened) or Neapolitans with Saviano for writing Gomorrah.

Alright, the review of the album before it comes out. I know that some may not like the dep, but where the hell have you seen the noisy grind? This is one of the most accessible albums of their career, as well as one of the best. The last track is fantastic; there’s been a huge maturation in them. So try not to give a 1 to the album just because someone wrote the review before it was released (and anyway, in the end, who cares when someone writes the review? It stays there forever, it even gives you a sneak peek of what’s to come, it helps you understand if it's worth downloading or buying, what more do you want?). Rounded votes to give a fairer average to this album.

swimming in the air the most beautiful Italian piece ever... don’t you think it’s a bit of an exaggeration, just a tad... there are a couple of bands that might have something to say about it, but just a little bit.

kyklos, I was there too at the dissonanze festival, truly mind-blowing. I even wrote a review of that festival, including the other day with the incredible battles performance. great album.
