take away the beer and put bari and you have the meaning... but if you talk about bari, still put the peroni because bari and peroni are synonyms. from your accent, brother of origin jeremy, you can be from andria or grumo... did I get it right? the scum from acquaviva. I was also at the concert at the independent but I didn't even pay much attention to them because I was still thinking about the qotsa (or cozza, to say it the barese way) who had just finished and I was outside. even the bald guy trying to act cool started by saying “it's absurd for us to play after the best rock band on the planet.” anyway, it was a great concert.

the descent into the abyss had already begun with make yourself, as far as I'm concerned the last of the incubus is science, their masterpiece is enjoy and fungus amongus is a really good album...the rest to the scrap heap (a crow left of....sucks and light grenadas has something decent, but not that much)

Personally, I prefer "the earth is not a dead cold place," but "the birth and death of a day" is probably their best piece (when they all come in at four and a half minutes, it's spine-tingling). Simple lyrics but they say what they need to say.
