mariaelena do you have the video of Genesis live in Shepperton '73 with Peter and his costumes? if you don’t have it, get it. every fan of "ours" should have it, not sure if I'm making myself clear....:;o)

Very good. From the album, I only know "Contessa Miseria."

legendary album, the only one I gladly listen to again from AC/DC. a bit of a poor review

the more I listen to this album, the more I like it. The title track is one of the "highest" moments of progressive.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer Brain Salad Surgery

I agree, it's unacceptable. I understand that tastes are tastes, but there’s a limit to everything, I believe. For example, I don’t love cammariere, but that doesn't mean I go around saying he isn't worth a dime. I don’t like him, that's all, but I consider him a good musician. That's it.

I love this album; I never get tired of listening to it again, and every time I find something new that I hadn't noticed before, just like with other records, of course. By the way, now I can enjoy them on DVD as well, which I couldn't do back in the vinyl and cassette days. I agree it’s a dead end to talk about it; it’s pointless, so I strongly recommend everyone not to take those rankings seriously.

sylvian, to know what others think, there's no need to buy these books; just meet people, visit sites like this one, and exchange opinions and tips about records. Those are dry operations for profit; they have no credibility. It's like when the news tells you that Valeria Marini is the most beautiful and desirable woman in Italy; they hold that kind of value, you understand? And then, in this team of experts, there could be Manzarek, Pavarotti, or Jesus himself; I don’t care. No matter how great musicians they may be, they have no right to decide what is beautiful, what should be remembered, and what should be discarded and forgotten. Their opinions are just as debatable as ours. If they are commissioned for money or other less noble purposes, their opinions are doubly irrelevant. That's how I feel about it, I'm sorry.

Of course, everyone has a personal ranking dictated by the heart. But to be honest, I'm not interested in reading this ranking or in buying books of this kind. This type of operation is simply a waste of time. Don't let certain things influence you; keep listening to the music that makes you feel comfortable, regardless of what the world thinks about it.

oh yes, quite a few. anyway, even if McCartney were to die for real, I don't think it would be an irreparable loss for music. John was far better than him, even as a man.
