I've heard them, I've known them since two years ago! And they're awesome; in fact, I was wondering why it's so hard to hear them around. But then again, in Italy, the music that matters is always hidden. So keep giving fame to Amari and the things we've already heard a billion times like Toy's orchestra. Damn.

Jim Jarmusch, a great. Johnny Depp, a great. Dead Man, Broken Flowers, and Coffee and Cigarettes are the Jarmusch films I've seen. Love at first sight for all his movies.
Tim Burton Big Fish - Le Storie Di Una Vita Incredibile
Voto:
One of the movies I enjoy watching the most. The best performance by Burton in my opinion. Superior to Edward Scissorhands.

Wow, what an interesting choice, as usual. About the Italian prog bands: "they poorly revisited the classics of music, literature, and sometimes even philosophy" -----> I agree on the poorly. Now, it’s not that it's forbidden to tackle the highest and most tragic or existential themes, but it certainly requires skill and inspiration to do so. From how you described them, they seem very folk-like.

But is anyone still paying attention to this poor guy? At first, I thought he might at least be able to offer some interesting insights in cinema, but over time I've realized that he shows an extreme superficiality even there; just look at how he dismissed "Underground" by Kusturica. He thinks he's cool because he knows about arthouse films, but the way he talks about them is as introspective as an episode of the Maurizio Costanzo Show. My only hope now is that at least in his personal life he doesn't possess this encyclopedia-like superficiality for elementary schools. But I have serious doubts.

Sure, I haven't even seen it. Nice review.

Oh no, damn. Here come the ones. Does it really take that much imagination not to review the same album for the fifth time in a month?

Italians? I like Raw Power, who are truly a legendary band, but you probably already know them. Or Negazione, although I’m not a huge fan of theirs.
