I never delved into Santana's production; I have caught a few tracks from old albums where the band launched into furious jams, influenced by sounds as exotic as they are jazz. It reminded me a lot of the jams from Bitches Brew by Miles Davis.

Well, it's not a new story; the same thing happened with Paolo Fresu, although now finally the name is circulating enough in Italy. One more reason to leave this country. Italy is beautiful to live in when you're old, maybe in some Umbrian or Tuscan hill, but any young person with a bit of ambition and decency gets tired of staying in our country.
