Marracash Feat. Don Joe Popolare (singolo)

To really take a jab at it, I had a friend download the song for me and I listened to it.
TEXT: a concentrate of ignorance, a whole lot of arrogance, delinquent pride, and simply embarrassing rhymes (the kind: what do you do to make it rhyme everywhere). It's a shame because the Italian language is so varied and has so many expressive possibilities... The only positive note remains a certain social criticism that is certainly not trivial.
MUSIC: it's a composition in snippets. It takes the stylistic features of certain genres, associating and synthesizing them into a base where the merit lies not in originality, but in fine-tuning, as if adjusting a scooter.
"the road calls me, I’m making a record for those who understand me and those who don’t, goodbye"------> maybe a 13-year-old girl hyped up by MTV speaks better.

I think the album is better than you make it seem. The review is intentionally controversial, but it lacks substantial argumentation. It seems to reflect your purely personal tastes rather than an objective musical analysis. Idea: why not review chamomile next time?
P.S.: I saw your profile. You're great, no doubt about it.

Alright, I’m done. I knew that for once, having a serious conversation wouldn’t make any difference, as usual. See you tomorrow with the usual silly comments.

Art is the most beautiful thing that humanity has ever produced. Now art is mistreated and undervalued, in favor of something more marketable.

Are there more serious things? What could be more serious? Do you realize that there are people who live for music, who love music? Let’s not say trivialities, please.

Alright, here we go. So can I say that 50 Cent and Beyoncé as musicians aren't worth a damn? At least I can do that, right?

Alright, enough. I understand. In certain discussions, you might not be able to argue, perhaps. So you say they bore you and that they aren't worth it.

Dexter, if the world tries to change by sidelining art in favor of marketability, I feel compelled to say that, in my opinion, it’s wrong and that certain crap that’s called music and defended is not music at all. I mean, why has superficial music taken up all the space that was once shared with more meaningful music?

And does it seem right to you that music made to sell should overshadow music created with soul, with sweat, with genius? No, because you know, it didn't used to happen. Now it does.

Now I'll share my opinion: I believe that Beyoncé and 50 Cent have nothing to do with music. All the management behind them creates a product enjoyable even for 12-year-old kids, to sell and make money. The music is worth 0, the lyrics are insignificant and not touching at all, rather vulgar, but not in a provocative way. A vulgarity that is profoundly ignorant. And these people who have nothing to do with music (less than me, less than Zion, less than Dexter) earn billions calling their crap music, thanks to a fabulous marketing operation. Did you study Economics? Psychology? Now you are free to contradict what I said. Go ahead.
