The nice thing is that I really like the dreams. Images and awake are among my favorite albums. By the way, on awake they sound a bit different than usual. If they had continued down that path, they would definitely be one of my absolute favorite bands now. Nevertheless, I consider them good musicians, with the flaws I wanted to highlight. Petrucci himself has great merits: particularly that of having contaminated the prog tradition with an even more aggressive and metal sound. I repeat: it's the way they play and program some of their songs that can sometimes be hard to digest.
