I hadn't actually included Nightwish within the genre, but they do fit in.

I forgot about Kamelot because I've never listened to them. Please, in all the world’s languages, listen to Savatage, because they are among the absolute best. Blind, yes, they almost echo all the stylistic elements, but the voice is very interesting and varied, the drums are also varied, and the compositions in albums like imagination... and nightfall... are fantastic in my opinion. You're right, Andi Deris is an invertebrate.

Above all: Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Helloween, Angra (the latter only partially). Then, well, the precursors of the genre (who far surpass all the bands mentioned above): SAVATAGE. Naturally, the names I've mentioned should be taken with a grain of salt because (the tradition of the genre?) they have all more or less tarnished over time.

POWER METAL, that is: double bass from all sides, loud and embarrassing vocalizations combined with pub choruses of polenta and sausage, riffs like "fast forward the CD," bass... where is it? keyboards in the style of Fantaghirò, lyrics taken from "the thousand and one tales to make children sleep happily," featuring orcs, slightly slutty witches, and fire-breathing dragons. Few bands in the genre escape this poverty of ideas and style.
