Modena City Ramblers Viva La Vida Muera La Muerte!
Voto:
All the Italian prog from the 70s (Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, PFM, Quella Vecchia Locanda, New Trolls, Le Orme...), the cultured singer-songwriter scene mentioned by Nightmetaller, the authorial punk that should never be discarded from bands like Negazione and Raw Power, indie rock from groups like Jennifer Gentle, Julie's Haircut, Baustelle... there are plenty. If we want, there's also Elio e le Storie Tese. Then, for scattered names, I think of I Mercanti di Liquore, I Novembre, I Labirinth, etc. When someone writes certain things lightly on a music site, they should expect reactions. Otherwise, they'll stop writing.

If I'm not mistaken, the concert was actually postponed due to a dangerous tower. The original dates were indeed August 4th and 5th.

I also know Renbourn, but not this album. I have his live performance in Italy that gives me chills for the touch, the delicacy of his hands and also of his voice. In him, you can find influences ranging from Celtic to jazz to blues. Great review.

The Beatles are officially the first group with which one has learned to say "they are divine because they have won everyone's heart" and not "they are divine because they play and compose divinely." This is their great achievement.

Good review. Short yes, but quite comprehensive.

I must insist on not retracting my scoff. There are indeed good Italian bands out there. It's easier to enjoy the foreign ones, but your statement has excluded a multitude of talented artists that you can discover thanks to Debaser. So my invitation remains the same. I also throw around nonsense on Debaser, and I enjoy it. The fact that you consider it vulgar to use profanity on a site like this makes me smile.

"The only Italian band along with Bisca and Daniele Silvestri that I have a good memory of"----> My God, MetallaroBionico, then start hanging out on Debaser not just to spout nonsense, but also to discover new valid bands. I beg you.

I find Scaruffi incredibly useful as a database to browse new CDs or bands I've yet to discover. I also read his reviews, but I take them with a grain of salt and, above all, I read them only after getting to know the band he is (s)talking about. However, one thing is certain: when Scaruffi writes, unlike us, he has no biases. That said, I've reflected on this piece, and I must say I didn’t like the kind of satire and the images you evoke to mock the reviewer.

I wouldn't know, because it's a very heavy mockery and, despite the disclaimer added, if I were Scaruffi I would feel rather offended. However, one cannot deny that the writing is satirical and entertaining. Well, I'm not voting. Anyway, these 4 cockroaches seem to have turned into one Bach, another Beethoven, another Mozart, and yet another Ellington. The senseless mythologizing has no limits anymore. And this CD is truly overrated.
Aerosmith Live Bootleg
Voto:
It's a live performance that I enjoyed listening to, also because the Aerosmith songs from that period were well-suited to be played live without too many frills. The sound of the guitars doesn't really grab me much, nor does the work of the rhythm section. Tyler's voice is fantastic.
