The fucking snobs or the clueless metalheads consider them that way. Open-minded people see them as a group that has done great things. Not everyone can write songs like Welcome to the Jungle, Estranged, or You Could Be Mine, or One in a Million, just to name a few. That they have been ridiculously inflated by the media is obvious. And that they were a bunch of assholes is even more obvious. But the qualities of a guitarist like Slash are not up for debate.

In parentheses, the song "butterfly" that introduced them to the world is made up of a snippet from a Red Hot Chili Peppers song from the album "Mother's Milk" (which, if I’m not mistaken, was already a cover reinterpreted in their style) repeated in an endless loop with their stuttering vocalizations underneath. They didn't even make an effort to re-record the fragment, which is indeed the original from "Mother's Milk." Long live MTV.

It doesn't seem like a stripped-down live show to me at all; on the contrary, quite the opposite. Obviously, you don't know the albums you're commenting on. Guns, as usual, are a band that is hated regardless of their qualities.

I know very well that it's not on this album, but I mentioned it because it's one of the most acclaimed songs by their fans. The 2 is for the technique and for some good insights buried under the flood of notes.
