In fact, my comment was aimed at downplaying the significance of these comparisons. In any case, saying "pop" makes sense in certain contexts, absolutely. It indicates how easily certain music can get into the listener's ears. For me, it has no negative connotation if the musical content is good. With Radiohead, in my opinion, we can talk about pop (understood as I explained earlier), let's not kid ourselves.

Come on, I think too much nonsense is being shot around here. First: Radiohead have always been on pop sounds, in my opinion even on Kid A. OK Computer embraces pop in more than one song—(Karma Police, Let Down, No Surprises can't be considered avant-garde, can they?). It doesn’t make much sense to say that one album is more pop than another for the sake of evaluation.
