Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death

I don't know, I didn't like it. The album doesn't make me want to listen to it much.

In that case, my reaction was vigorous because it seemed to me that you had said something ridiculous (and it didn't quite sound like a statement of personal taste, trust me). I've experienced such reactions millions of times, and I've used them too. That doesn't mean I consider you a fool or ignorant. And if you really want to know, I called you out like that precisely because you go around in the reviews mocking why someone reviewed the album of a well-known group, which I think is pointless, because if someone can only review artists who have made history and not those to discover, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to do so.

I get it, so when it suits you, one is vulgar. You know what? Neither you nor I are vulgar, because in a discussion on a forum like debaser it's stupid to label someone as vulgar for a comment with swearing or for making fun. It doesn't make sense. What surprised me is that you often complain because someone reviews well-known bands (in this case as in others), as if it were a necessity for you to only see reviews of Michael Jarre or Marta sui Tubi, and then you’re surprised when someone bothers you because you made a musically banal and false statement. Accept it.

I mean, first you make embarrassing trivial statements, like the fact that there are no decent Italian groups, and then you expect others to review things that are not trivial (which, being a new release, this album is). Make up your mind.

@ Metallaro Bionico: "know-it-all but why do you act like this? Isn't it my business? Why do you always have to be vulgar? Nonsense? What do I care if I don't like Italian music? Why don’t you just go screw yourself?" So, you responded like this a while ago when I bothered you because you essentially claimed there were no decent Italian artists. Now I come in here and find you complaining because someone reviewed Dream Theater. And I say: ISN'T IT HIS BUSINESS? Show us the emerging bands, metallarobionico, instead of acting like a pretentious connoisseur with those who write.

Hey, take it easy, what are we doing? Let's relax. Shall we smoke a joint together?

Yes, I heard them too, and they are definitely inspiring. It's true that some vaguely symphonic tracks remind of Elfmann. In any case, I don't feel like giving them a 5.

Tapping, when used wisely, can be useful and add value to a guitar piece. So I completely disagree with you. I'm thinking of "Midnight" by Satriani, or certain solos by Van Halen, or Chris Oliva, as well as Les Claypool with his percussive tapping on bass.
