Martin has never really appealed to me either. Let's say that in Faith he could fit well, if limited by Gould, but in my opinion he has always been a skinny metalhead without much elegance. It's no coincidence that my favorite Faith album, in certain respects, is King for a Day, where the guitar is MUCH more dynamic.

Because it has something Stravinskian about it. In the patterns, absolutely unpredictable. Inside, you find everything. Doom metal, thrash, noise, avant-garde, classical music. I believe it’s the most crossover song ever made. A masterpiece. It’s worth the album by itself. Patton's voice is a hopeless rasp. The maze created by the incredibly heavy electric guitars is a labyrinth. It feels like being inside the darkest construct of the human mind.

So: Jizzlobber is perhaps the most incredible song that Faith No More has ever made. Of course, this opinion won't be shared by anyone. But it’s what I think.

I know and I'm sorry. But you must agree that when you know and love an album like this, at the moment of seeing someone else's opinion, you pay more attention to the content than the form. This doesn't happen, however, when you read reviews of albums you’re not familiar with. In any case, the review is honest and written much better than others to which I've given even higher ratings. I'm sorry, I may have been too pretentious.

Joe, don’t be angry. It happens to everyone to write a review that they think is great and that they’ve put a lot of effort into, but it gets rejected in the comments. I didn’t like it because I disagree with 8 out of the 14 songs you described. You don’t add much personal insight to the existing reviews of this album. I also generally don’t like track by track reviews without a logical thread, even though yours is extremely discursive. When reviewing such an important and well-known album on Debaser, one has to be prepared to face this kind of criticism. Especially since I didn’t vote for your other two reviews on Faith No More. So I don’t think I’ve been that trivial.

Since debaser has been debaser, the comments under the reviews happily end up off topic. If you don't like the discussion, just don't read it.

Lord, as you usually do, it seems you haven't understood much of the matter. Who are these '68 communist folks?

These ska people now seem to want to fight against musical progress with their flatness. An exhausting struggle against "variation."

Just the fact of talking about '68 COMMUNISTS gives me chills. Goodness, I’m going to put on my coat.

The album is a masterpiece. However Joe, I'm sorry, but this time I'm giving you a bad vote because it's the third consecutive review of Faith No More and it doesn't do them justice, being subdued like the other two. I don't see the point. If you want to continue...
