Martin Scorsese Cape Fear - Il Promontorio Della Paura

Fidia, instead I believe that it is precisely the anecdote (and even more the ending of the review) you shared that reinforces my idea that this is a great film. The premise is as "banal" as the chances are high that such a situation could occur in reality, perhaps due to a misunderstanding like in your case, or due to "job-related inconveniences" as depicted in the film. And, aside from De Niro's usual brilliance (which I adore in this film), I find it remarkable how Scorsese has portrayed in such a suggestive manner the revenge obsession of a psychopath (who, from his warped perspective, viewed it as "justice"... and to be picky, from a legal standpoint, he wasn't wrong... :D) without resorting to gruesome effects. The fact that you find yourself with someone gunning for you at every corner is unsettling in itself, and the character is as slimy and insidious as few.

I quote Bisius who quotes Punny and Target :) But Flathead's final solo makes me feel (I have fun)!

I thank Waldo for the appreciation, but honor to Nero anyway :D

I share the analysis, it's a shame that a great piece is "ruined" by a production that is too loud. It sounds better live (check out Live From Dakota).

It's true, technically he didn't describe any song, but for me, who only knows the band by name and reputation, it was still enticing. Certain records that leave a mark more than others (perhaps this is the case for him) are often far more interesting to describe this way rather than talking about how powerful the guitar riffs are and how precise the drum breaks are.

Great review. Something tells me I might not like them, but I still want to give them a listen :)

The nice thing is that Cremonini sent a cassette to Ocean Colour Scene in which he "proved" that his song was composed during his teenage years, and therefore couldn’t be plagiarism, and they replied that "there was no problem" = couldn’t care less :)

We're talking, and I'd like to clarify; even though my nickname ends with an A, I'm male. Like Caligula :D I don't know if I'll listen to the album, although too many negative opinions are starting to pique my curiosity.

Nice voice to a certain extent. On this CD, I save some tracks, but others are irritating precisely because of her voice, which is no longer what it used to be. Despite this, she insists on making songs with a certain vocal range that could even be unmanageable live. 3 - - for the album.
